It's a sign of just how engrained ultra-nationalism is in western liberals that they don't even consider that people with different ideological beliefs are automatically on the same "side" as them just because of national alliance alignment.

I know you're saying that, and I'm saying it shows how foundational nationalism is to your mindset that you think you can just declare it to be true even though I do not consider you on my side
I've seen Lemmy liberals tolerate them plenty so long as they're aligned with the democrats (who themselves are largely fascist) or against the Wests enemies.
Again, shows just how foundational nationalism is to you that you think you can just assert we have "so much more in common" just because we share a national affinity even though we have different values and ideologies.
How magnanimous of you... I know liberals are used to being able to unilaterally shut down leftists in most spaces, but you don't actually have the power to do that here.
