in addition to every other "thought" here being wrong and stupid, it especially irritates me when people assign / conflate sexual dimorphic phenotypes/behaviors from highly divergent species to backstop their own bullshit. it's part of the jordan peterson playbook and it's about as scientific as "cats are girls" / "dogs are boys".

it's one thing to put on a silly "fascinator" type of hat and say "i'm peacocking". that's a shorthand we can all understand. but it's something else to say "this bird is performing x and that is scientifically analogous to some specific baggage i carry about humans." they're fucking BIRDS. it's a completely different order and they are on a completely distinct sex-determination system that has its own chromosome pairing.

it's not XX = female bird, XY = male bird. it's ZW. and it's oppositional to the XY system. the homogametic ZZ is the "male" bird, and the heterogametic ZW is the egg-laying "female"| bird. further, in birds the ovum (not the sperm) determines the sex of offspring. the male/female binary is something we place on ourselves and other species to make the world conform to our need for simple patterns upholding a primitive self-understand that does not challenge established power.

I mean. They are just not going hard enough. If I spent a year learning to dance I would be more attractive to mates. If I built myself a home that would be worth a look. If I could swim up a waterfall like a salmon that would for sure impress my preferred type of partner.

Funny how these guys never argue that ant sexual behavior should also apply to humans (it would not go well for men)

Drones tend to be smaller and less physically able than workers and die young so it's more of a twink harem

Well, on Club Penguin we would all get into arguments over who was the boss of the Pizza Parlor and the Club Penguin story required everyone to be part of the penguin CIA, so yes.
