This is kind of silly. He has done TV for decades. It is where all the DTV trash he makes is shown…
Not really according to his Wikipedia page
I wonder if the juxtaposition between the pilot he was in not being picked up and the relative success of Fast Times at Ridgemont High tainted his view any.

The bulk of his work in 2014, 15,16, 17, 19, 20 and 2025 is TV.
There is also a TV section on that wiki that has him doing TV work back in 2007.
I'd say those are all closer to direct-to-vhs movies than television. Just the distribution system is cloudier
Its tv.. the vast majority of the garbage he makes goes to tv, not in the cinema.
Yes, and a straight to vhs film would also play on the tv but you wouldn't call that television
