Sorry for another reddit-based post, but today reddit held a poll: Do you want the United States to become socialist? Most Americans voted No, and most non-Americans voted Yes.

I think US people are genuinely lost.

Iirc, there have been scientific polls that show younger generations of Americans support "democracy" in the abstract less than older ones. Overall, less people in the US have confidence that the US is a democracy than in the past
