Don't need to. Mine does that on it's own. I love that thing.
It's great, but I have to keep ice cubes in a box or it sublimates them out of the tray.
I had a bag of berries sublimate into a bag of freeze dried berries and ice crystals.
Probably should have eaten them faster hmm
