I played some games on Fightcade with my friend this week! We played Streets of Rage 2, Neo Bomberman, and Land Maker. I've played some SoR2 before but never multiplayer, and the other two were first timers altogether for me. Both are really fun, Neo Bomberman is probably my favorite in the series so far and I had never heard of Land Maker before but it's a pretty fun puzzle game that's not too hard to pick up. I wish Fightcade supported 4 players for Bomberman but oh well.
Watching Jerma play Diablo 2 made me want to try Diablo 1 since I never played it before, so I've got that going as well. I'm playing a Sorcerer and didn't know you don't start with Mana regen in this game so that's been fun to manage lol. The controller support in DevilutionX is pretty nice, it's a little awkward but I've got the D-pad set to quick spells and it works well enough so far. My wife wants to play with me too so that will be a good time.
Also if I'm still awake in half an hour I think I'm gonna join in for the Hexbear Doom 2 Deathmatch games! It'll be my first time playing any Doom game so that should be interesting. Hopefully I don't get destroyed too badly, but I'm sure it'll be a good time either way.
