Again I don't understand why we don't sit down with our oligarchs and eat them....
Guess we need to sacrifice more children until we're ready.
Because they have drones and private armies?
Yes and that will only grow with time, which means sooner is better. And it still pales in comparison to the amount of manpower we can bring to the table. And we also can use drones, guns, and so on.
But hey, if you want to find more excuses to sacrifice other people's lives for nothing other than your modicum of comfort and "safety". Well that seems to be quite in tune with what oligarchs want.
You asked why we don't just "eat the oligarchs". It is because people are still afraid to die. Afraid to leave behind everything they know to try and build a better future they will not see. This is the answer to your question. And it's infinitly easier to talk about all the things you would do from behind a screen. Why don't you start a group? I'll join you, we can meet on Tuesdays.
Ahh fair, my bad. And have already organized with my neighborhood in case ice shows up. Trying to get them to plan or do more has been difficult much for the reasons you said. Again, my bad on the misread.
It's ok, the internet is a pretty testy place these days. That's awesome tho, the most I've done is leave my garage unlocked and let my neighbor know they can hide if needed.
Even tho things are bad, I think we still have a while to go before enough people reach a tipping point unfortunately.
It makes me sad and angry because I know the sooner we stop it, the less damage that is done, the less loss of life, the better our conditions can improve. I just see the U.S. in an abusive relationship, and the only ways out I know of such a relationship is either run or deal with the problem directly, sometimes both.
And having a place for a person/people to hide is still the right thing to do and is commendable. Every act of resistance matters, no matter how small one might judge it.
Anyway, good luck out there.
Thanks, you too!
