Obviously the quote would be the joke, but it was insinuating that he actually did have sex with Gorbachev, which is honestly not that outlandish and was worth asking for confirmation.

If King Richard and Suliman the Magnificent could be butt buddies during the crusades, what's stopping a couple of cold war era heads of state of rival world powers from being star-crossed lovers?

I'm sure they had enough confidential meetings to pull it off, and do I really need to enumerate how many conservatives are actually closeted homosexuals?
