Peace be with you. You are absolutely right. In my early days of exploring "privacy," I signed up for Reddit because I thought it was independent, but I was truly wrong. Google and Reddit actually have a deal that lets Google train its AI on user posts. It's wild that Reddit would allow that. I deleted my account immediately. But, im really happy to find a plattform like lemmy.
