Please expand on how you think a conservative government would address this. Just stating it like it’s fact is not an argument.

I can’t think of a single thing a conservative government has ever achieved for the benefit of society at large. The rich? Sure. Working class? Pretty sure they want us dead.

It was Stephen Harper that introduced consecutive sentencing. If you kill 4 people, you do 4 life sentences back to back. Today, if you kill multiple people, anything over 25 years is considered cruel and unusual punishment by the Supreme Court (all liberal appointed).

A conservative government is more victim (or damage to society) based for justice, rather than a liberal offender based justice system.

On a completely different note, it was Mulroney that brought us the free trade agreement with the USA, which we are just now realizing how important it is.
