I need to find out who writes the dialogue for The Boys and beat them to death with every single script Joss Whedon, Taylor Sheridan and whatever other bunch of hacks I can think of, wrote up. (hexbear.net)

I have seen that scene played for laughs so many times that you're a hack if you bring it up even to parody it, because it is so played out.
I would never in my life think I would actually see it played straight. What the fuck.

And if you're thinking "well that's Eric Kripke" then you might be right, but I figure he's the showrunner, so he probably doesn't write a lot of the details for each episode. And if it was him, then the dialogue would probably have been ass always. Or maybe not, people change. But I'm making a list and I'm working my way up through it.

My favorite part of this slop show is the "Frenchie and Kimiko have a couple's spat every season but it all works out in the end". I literally fast forwarded through every Frenchie/Kimiko scene in episode 3 & 4 when I first watched it to see if I would lose anything and no lol.

Frenchie/Kimiko arguments are actually funny though, because they always wanna say something about relationships in general, but because Kimiko started out as an adaption of The Female it is incredibly silly. Like you'll have Frenchie being controlling because he won't let Kimiko make her own choices, and Kimiko's choices are being a mafia hitman and using the proceeds to buy gaudy jewellery.

And because the writers can't decide what to do they've flip flopped on every single position the two have held, and tried to subvert the Frenchie/The Female retirement plan from the comics in like three different ways.
