I got a new analog clock for my kitchen since the old one I had for decades finally gave out. I grew up with these things, it wasn't until I was a bit older that digital came to dominate clockspace. Anyway I have a thing where like I'll look at the time on my phone, and then forget what time it is five mins later. Unlike if I look at a clock face I end up remembering and keeping track of the time.

I prefer digital for functionality, but if I'm gonna have a watch or clock in a world where I have my phone on me 24/7, then it's at least partially for the aesthetic, and analog clocks are much much much cooler
