I’m not eager to ask this, because it looks so good as it is, but… wouldn’t it make more sense to have the concrete stairs directly under the ladder? Right now, the stairs go nowhere.

Probably how it was supposed to go, but this was a bargain bin find that I didn't care to disassemble.
