Chat does this by being a long-form community where topics will remain from day to day unlike the megathread, and it is distinct from c/chapotraphouse in that we ask you to engage in this community in a genuine way. Please keep shitposting, bits, and irony to a minimum.
As with all communities posts need to abide by the code of conduct, additionally moderators will remove any posts or comments deemed to be inappropriate.

The comments below me look good but have you ever considered just rawdogging it?
Some of the best Chili I've made was by throwing whatever I had at it.
Canned tomato sauce, canned beans, an onion or two, whatever seasoning I have on hand, throw a couple bay leaves in there if I'm feeling bougie, throw some bouillon cubes (it says chicken flavor but there's not chicken).
Too thick? Throw a cup of water in there.
Too viscous? Let it simmer down
Have no taste? Season it some more.
I also have some fake ground "beef" I've been using, think it's by Impossible. Just defrost it in the microwave and plop it on the pan and poke the fuck out of it until it's crumbled up. Throw that stuff in the chili as well.
