Miss when all the tts's were like this. 2019-21. Microsoft sam level of bad but also sometimes the voice would scream at you above the max volume range, chatter like a zombie from TLOU, and hum for like 30 seconds while occasionally making a single sylable.
I have a file of "jacksepticeye" chittering like this from uberduck somewhere. It was great. Closest we got after it "got good" was elevenlabs but then it usually just made people into sterotypes. (One bi streamer's model made him so flamboyant he called it a microaggresion (in good humor)).
Its only use of these tts's was to joke around because of how bad it was. People were making YTP-level stuff with it. I'll never forget the ghost of Biggie Smalls shouting and 'snoring' over footage of dead by daylight. Truly a simpler, purer time...
