This would be much cooler with random layers scattered through it that were also tipped the same way.

The single fringe edge doesn’t really provide enough…. Depth? To fulfill the illusion, and while I see it also appears to follow the front layers up, the back still needs more, imo.

Maybe but also no. Neither matches nor bunsen burners (note to self, grow hair, dye it like a bunsen burner) ~~don't not never sometimes~~ burn that way
