This is really weird.
Why are we talking about congress voting against a measure saying that Trump can’t engage in something that the constitution clearly requires congress vote for a war before he can engage in it.
Even if the vote passed it would only be symbolic, no? War requires an affirmative vote from congress not a no vote for an anti declaration, or whatever the fuck this is.
This vote is simultaneously stupid and revolting. I’m just glad they are letting us know who to vote against.
Vote against these asshats no matter who. It don’t matter if they are blue or not. Fuck the democrat party too.
This also sounds like bullshit a bullshit vote for corporate media to lie to us and say that a war with Cuba is somehow legal now that this vote happened.
War requires a declaration of war from an affirmative vote in congress, not an anti-against war vote. It’s pretty clearly written.
