Facts. So it's only natural that there would be less and less of them. It was a short lived fad.
His name is actually King Furry? When they said that in abridged I thought they were joking.
Lot of names in Dragonball have little puns behind them. Some survive translation unscathed, some don't. Ka(carrot). Vegeta(ble). Nappa (Cabbage), Raditz (Radish). Bulma comes from Bloomer, Her dads name is Dr. Brief, her mom is Panchy (Panty), and her son is Trunks. Whole undergarments family.
Then there's the Journey to the West comparisons...
Also in the Buu saga, we have the the villain Bibidi, his son Babidi, and the monster Buu.
Put 'em together and what have you got? Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo!
Just learned recently that pilaf sama (DB season 1) has the character for fried rice on his shirt. So it's a pun on rice for this evil guy somehow.
I'm assuming the pun has something to do with rice pilaf.

I was telling my friend about the lore, and he thought I made up the name King Furry as a joke. Had to show him screenshots from DBZ:Kakarot to convince him otherwise
He reached the ripe old age of 11, so they just decided to wait him out.
It went the way most things do that leave Dragonball, Toriyama didnt like to draw them.
He dropped the child nudity, the animals could have been seen as a beastiality thing, so dropped as well. Stuff just also became not acceptable.
As someone who's never seen this show (or most other animes).....THE WHAT?? !!!
Some people don't actually sexualize all nudity.
In fact, nudity was used to symbolize that Goku was young and innocent. In Japan, a lack of sexual knowledge and urges is seen as a sign of youth and innocence. And there are several scenes in the original Dragon Ball where Goku is clearly confused when he encounters women in various states of undress.
But some people DO sexualize child nudity. Thats the problem.
Ok cool I guess because some people are fucked in the head we have to censor the entire world, never have art, all cultural differences have to be banned, and we just can't enjoy life.
The actual FUCK does it matter that some people are fucked in the head. Deal with that problem as is it has nothing to do with cultural differences of nudity.
Nudity is not sex. If you are physically unable to process that difference then that needs to be something you address about yourself.
Some people sexualize feet, hair, and even stuff like mailboxes. Everything is sexualized by someone. If we only made media that no one found sexual, media simply couldn't exist.
Also, being nude is the natural state of a person and shouldn't be sexual.

Is defending pedophilia REALLY the stance you want to take?
If some rich asshole buys an island and brings all his rich asshole friends to the island, and they spend their time sexualizing mailboxes? I mean...not my thing, but I'm not angry. I'm not judging them. I'd be a bit confused, but I also wouldn't seek answers.
And feet? Well, that can go two ways. If the feet are either fake, or attatched to a consenting adult? That's fine. Again, not MY thing, but nobody is being hurt here. If the feet were either severed, or attatched to a non-consenting adult? Then we have a problem.
But there is no outcome I can fathom where child nudity in media is ok. Sure, not EVERYONE would sexualize it, but some WOULD sexualize it. THATS the problem.
I see no avenues where someone sexualizing a mailbox leads to rape, or worse, child rape. Because at NO POINT can a child ever consent. All child sex is child rape. So if you know 10% of your audience IS sexualizing your media, and 90% isn't, you have to ask yourself "Is it worth it to leave this in?"
And this then turns into a case of "this is why we can't have nice things". The 10% ruin it for the 90%. Then you remember the thing being discussed is child nudity, realize it's not a loss at all taking that away. It's not a nice thing you're losing.
So from that perspective I REALLY have to question why you're so insistant on enabling pedophiles.
Nudity is not sex. Why the fuck do you care so much as child sex anyways that you seem to have a fixation talking about it.

Point is, just because rule34 exists of someone doesn't mean the problem is rule34. What if I add in something that I made for my mom to enjoy and that gives a hard on to some weirdos. Must I now change my art for my mom to enjoy because weirdos get a hard on? These are the questions people ask and they reason differently than you do. You can't accept that for some reason.

In Japan child nudity is not an uncommon sight in fiction, simply because it's seen as a sign of innocence. It's stopped being as much of a thing in newer works because Japanese Media is nowadays made with US localization in mind because if your shit becomes popular in America, it's like getting a blank check.
It's actually why in the Japanese Version of Earthbound Ness is naked in Magicant. (in the US Version he's in his Pajamas)
