I get so fucking put out with settlers and the "why don't you go and occupy that country's land and resources then?" bullshit
How about: "No, we are bringing the Chinese century here and you're going to like it!"
Jk the goal is not so much the "Chinese century" but the "decolonial socialist future" which the Chinese century might be a component of, but that's a lot less quippy so I guess I'll keep working on it
But yeah the "just go to the country store and pick out a different one" settler ass bullshit is enraging
