Kenya's Sabastian Sawe has become the first man to run a marathon in under two hours, winning the London Marathon with a time of 1:59:30.

What an absolutely incredible feat. It was not that long ago that Eliud Kipchoge beat the 2 hour mark only thanks to a specially-chosen dead-straight course, a dedicated and rotating team of elite runners as pacers spaces to give maximum drafting benefit, and people handing him fuel where he is without leaving his line, rather than needing to go pick it up from a table or volunteer.

To have beaten the mark in official marathon conditions—and for not just one but two runners to have done that—is just stunning. I don't have the words to express how I feel right now. Amazing!
