Does it count as hiking without significant elevation? I always thought that was a defining factor but that would simplify things, until I meet a real hiker lmao then I'd be outclassed I'm sure. We've got hills but overall it's fairly flat around here, it's not like Colorado lol! Not that I'd be opposed to real hiking (I'd love to) it's just not feasible to do regularly for me.

But yeah I do phrase it as liking nature, but that only "works" when you meet others who do too, for people who just Playstation all day it's still "weird." Meanwhile I totally understand gaming even if I don't do it much anymore, rude! Lol, throwing a camera in the mix makes even those people "get" it so far ime.

Sure! I've been on hikes with little elevation change, if it's not on a paved pathway it's hiking in my book! Now, the best hikes definitely have some elevation bc those views make everything worth it (for me at least), but that's not every hike. Sometimes you just need to be out in the trees.

And dawg, those are the weirdos. We're meant to be out in nature, not cooped up inside all the time. I love gaming too, but it can't be all you do especially when the sun is shining.

Shit, I'm a hiker and didn't even know it! I can work with that lol. Sometimes there is a paved path at the location though, but you have to go off the path to see anything cool.

Tbh I can understand the gamers too, it is fun to do and with the online factor it can be social, more so than the woods ime tbh. Some games are basically a book you can play, like Morrowind. I think it'd probably be good for them to get out yeah but I'm not gonna judge them too hard, and that's all I ask in return.

Still glad I got the camera though, not just because it helps cut the awkwardness but also it is just fun taking pics of cool shit and cute cats, the "not being judged" part is just a bonus really.
