They think the "rights" of the ukrainian state trump the rights of the ukrainian people. Fascist mentality
The UN has also determined that the right of territorial integrity of the Ukrainian state is more important than the right of self-determination of the Ukrainian people. So it's a consistent through line from libs to their beloved institutions.
They believe that if Ukraine and NATO don't destroy Russia right now Putin is gonna nuke Amsterdam or Berlin or wherever they live
