what happens after this? people in the thread saying this is done else most would chose jail, but like he can just refuse to hold a gun, to go through training. I assume jail is what follows if so?
The military guys can beat the shit out of them until they change their mind, get sent to the hospital, or die.
If im ever in situation literally as soon as I have a loaded gun i'm killing everyone involved in this. Literally the only way they could prevent me from killing whoever is forcing me to do this would be to hogtie me and kick me out of a van onto the frontline

It some cases they could threaten death. I think I would, in the case of the US, rather take the bullet than kill others for an Empire.
