I still don't see how UBI doesn't t hurt capital. If he is calling for it though I have to reconsider things
To answer in earnest, it would only be palatable to the bourgeoisie in imperial nations where the UBI is essentially paid for by uneven exchange by stealing from the victims of imperialism. If/when the third world throws off its yoke, UBI and more broadly social democracy will become totally untenable to the bourgeoisie
