She's not out of office. She was moved to a different office. She's now the Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas.

Her husband is also still married to her and has decided that's what he wants. Once he publicly steps out and condemns her, then I'll argue for leaving him alone. Until then, he's gotten to do what he wants on life while, at minimum, supporting someone who ruins (or ends) people's lives who she doesn't approve of. He's not an asshole for this kink. He's an asshole because he supports someone who has power to harm and condemns people with alternative lifestyles like him.
