Isn’t horizontal video exactly as narrow, just on different axis?
But aligned with our field of view. We can see about twice as wide as we can see vertical. Which is why video moved away from square and 4:3. So now we are doing this, presumably so we can keep peripheral vision free to spot predators.
Okay, so it’s as narrow but it’s better because it fills out entire field of vision. Not sure how that relates to narrowness of the worldviews.
