There are some themes of identity and perception of body and female super mutants, which are ideas that resonate with trans people.

huh. i mean i am not trans, but i have a different kind of body dysmorphia and those themes resonated with me too. huh, i will have to ask my trans sisters at lesbian game night about this.

An environmental study would have to rule out exposure to fighting games.
