Right, but I'm pointing towards the fact that's not an accident. the whole S.T.E.M. push was funded via DARPA and the worst companies around. Go back and look at like MAKER Space Tour type vids from Adam Savage (who is a reasonably decent guy) and they were all funded by Chevron and what have you.
