Testosterone is a fairly effective male contraceptive agent, but most people can't get over the side effect of ball shrinkage.

Other than the psychological trauma of having smaller balls, there isn't much in terms of permanent damage. Men on fitness forums claim their testosterone permanently crashes, but this demographic tends towards hypochondria and body dysmorphia. Although it can be prevented by co-administering HCG with the testosterone, this would restore fertility.
