You're on .ml it's literally Marxist Leninist. You're like an American standing in Mexico complaining about everyone speaking Spanish.
It's literally Mali. Having alternate country codes is just a way to take advantage of countries with less of a presence on the internet to be able to get better domain names and at a lower price. .ml specifically was given away for free.
The worst, I think, is .io since the profits of those domains should go to the chagossians, but it just goes to the British government.
To be fair, Lemmy.ml just has lots of MLs, Lemmygrad.ml is the actual ML instance. Also to be fair, many instances do have strong political views as a part of their identity.

Yep, Lemmy.ml isn't actually something that can be categorized as "cleanly ML."
