What's more worrying is that nobody else is saying it.

Sure it's a horrible regime but they're not the only ones going to be suffering

I am surprised a lot of people think that being a "horrible regime" justifies genocide. Is this train of thought human at all? Because the Iranians are not going around bombing civilians in other countries.

If you're really surprised, you haven't been paying attention to the last several centuries of human history...

I think that there are a lot of ghouls out there trying to use moral relativism to justify mass murder. My answer to them is "We destroyed the nazis for a reason"

[–] Mac@mander.xyz 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

We destroyed the Nazis

Did we?

[–] DontTreadOnBigfoot@lemmy.world 0 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Us and the Soviets

But only after the other European allies paid the price in blood to hold them for as long as possible.

Then the US HIRED nazis, for example the

"I aim for the moon, but sometimes I hit London" Crew

Those guys later went on to work for Eti Amin (Congo Space Race!)

And they built Gadahfis bunkers...

So thanks for employing the Nazis USA

I personally think the genocide of the human race is justified, but anything short of every single person is just needless slaughter and causes more suffering than it solves.

But yes, I believe this because as a general rule humans are fucking stupid animals who figured out violence and oppression and then never evolved past that.

also to note, its a regime that is result of UK/US installing the shah and then the islamic revolution happened, so its pretty much the fault of the US AND UK.

True, and they trained Osama Bin Laden as well when he was in the mudjaheddeen.

Really when does this stuff ever work out?

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 1 points 1 month ago
