Chat is a text only community for casual conversation, please keep shitposting to the absolute minimum. This is intended to be a separate space from c/chapotraphouse or the daily megathread. Chat does this by being a long-form community where topics will remain from day to day unlike the megathread, and it is distinct from c/chapotraphouse in that we ask you to engage in this community in a genuine way. Please keep shitposting, bits, and irony to a minimum.

As with all communities posts need to abide by the code of conduct, additionally moderators will remove any posts or comments deemed to be inappropriate.

Thank you and happy chatting!

Labor is saved when the means of production are privatized. When a billionaire acquires offspring, their offspring automatically starts with a positive labor-balance which offsets the labor-savings created when their parent privatized the MoP. This offspring is thus morally in-the-clear to spend from this labor fund, and as a society, we should thank them if they ever manage to spend all of it.

I think this was in Das Kapital, but I couldn’t find the part where he says this.

I just realized this was in c/chat so I’ll respond here by saying that I have been working too much overtime and life kind of sucks right now
