At the most generous, she seems to be talking past the commenter, but that was poorly phrased on her part. There are still people who support isntrael knowing full well they're doing a genocide, and the fact that they're doing a genocide is also the reason each day is the most popular isntrael will ever be

What could be a more direct response to "it's natural everyone dislikes genocidal freaks" than "I don't think it's natural" and some examples of genocidal freaks people support?

I've never watched any Contrapoints or followed her social media. I'm guessing most of the responses here (and the fact that this thread was created in the first place) stem from people who are more familiar with her and think she sucks on other grounds.

I think the argument doesn't necessarily match the conclusion. "I don't think it's natural" can be read here as "I think it's not within human nature to oppose genocide" but she argues that "The argument to human nature does not explain why people support genocide"

To me, "it's not natural" would imply the first — that there is no basis in human nature for empathy to Palestinians, etc.
