Her followup doesn't have a point. People don't support this shit when they've either seen it or lived it. Historic genociders worshipped as heroes are all far away things that aren't real compared to the dead children you see every day on your phone.

The biggest takeaway from recent years seems to be that there is no longer any tolerance in the world for aggressors that start wars. The aggressor gets viewed negatively in every single war lately. Moral-washing and pink-washing and every other type of washing is failing.

Yes I agree but that only affects the people seeing the dead children everyday right? Like one thing I do know of the internet is that people have their own bubble. Believe me seeing dead children (but really people was enough for me) was my number one reason for being against the genocide. But I also see that it hasn't stopped some people from supporting it.

And the divide between the pro- and anti- genocide (weird thing to have a pro side to) is widening. Their usual talking points don't matter anymore they have to be able to tap in to peoples existing bigotry (brown people scary, brown people savage, brown people no safe for women), which is why I don't think the propaganda hits as much anymore.
