Those of you that have had adult kids with partners living under your roof, did you let the partners stay over or your kid stay at theirs?

Opposite side, parents attempted to make my already live in partner sleep upstairs on the sofa the first time we visited. Got shut down firmly on that bullshit.

Can't speak for having adult kids, but my p's were very strict on that (having gfs over). On the flip absolutely fine bringing them down here at their other place. It made no sense.

If I had adult kids I'd welcome it. I'd get them to do shit around the house lol (looking at you ladders, mowing and weeding). Also means (if a parent) could point out any red flags (if there are any).
