What do you actually know about Korea? Vietnam? Iraq? Yugoslavia? Afghanistan? ...

If your trying to act like what is happening in the USA today is the same as 20 years ago I can only imagine the privelidge you must have to be so naive.

in this case i don't care if trump does silly shit within your borders. the us has bombed countries back into the stone age for almost a century. and it's always either about gaining control of resources or for "strategic purposes".
apart from ww2 (in which they dropped a nuke on a country that was about to be defeated anyway) almost every war in the 20th and 21st century was just an unjustified massacre in places they had no reason to be in other than to swoop in and grab natural resources and plant a base. they haven't defended themselves once and all the justifications they had to enter a war were the consequences of their own acting.
i implore you to read more about the atrocities your country committed.

All too familiar with most of the atrocities although it's hard to keep up. How am I delusional though? Do you live in the USA? Do you know how hard full family coverage with no deductable is to get? Do u know what it costs to keep a child with birth defects alive? Some people would pay any price. This whole comment thread started about how some people don't really have a choice but to join the military.

You're evidently okay with the atrocities being committed. You excuse the inflicting of suffering and devastation on non Americans for a selfish benefitting of the soldiers committing and abetting them directly, and moreover to the benefit of scumbag elites who are incentivized to continue perpetrating acts of aggression, crimes, and atrocities, placing profits over people as always.

While we're on the tipic. Please explain to me how the extermination campaign in Korea (dropping more bombs on half an already small peninsula than were dropped in the Pacific theatre of WW2 as a whole, 1 in 5 to 1 in 4 of the population killed, all major farms and structures turned to rubble leaving the survivors living in caves) is not equivalent or honestly worse than the more recent atrocities. Or how about Vietnam still dealing with the after affects of the rainbow agents (agent orange etc.). Or the US collection of pet failed states like Libya. How about putting pinochet or the shah (aka the butcher) in power alongside the rest of their pet fascists of the day.

Are you really going to talk about the bombing in Korea followed by the atrocities in Vietnam? Are you familiar with Korean war crimes and anti communist efforts in Vietnam? Ever heard of the phong nhi massacre? My point being is nobodies hands are clean. Most soldiers aren't after blood, they just need to feed their family.
