When technologies get used for evil my immediate reaction is to take a hard swing in the other direction.
When someone abuses AI, whether it’s cops doing surveillance or hiring managers using it to screen applications, my thought is “Okay you don’t get to use computers anymore. Back to pen and paper.
Hiring managers, you can receive paper resumes in the mail or in person and sort through them with your hands.
Cops, you can get security footage on a physical tape or disc when you bring a signed paper warrant to the person with the cameras.
