I'm a man and I can tell you this isn't true.

It's good poetry though
and there's certainly a group of women out there loving to hear this,
who will say yes if you ask them if they're romantic,
unless she's 'Summer' from '500 days of Summer',
because that woman wanted to cite this kind of poetry
to her perfect partner and have him swoon over.

But you're better off stating this to a romantically inclined woman
than to interpret the poetry and following its lines.
