I’m still pretty conflicted here. Not only was the character pretty inconsistent (like all of the characters on the show), but I always imagined that a gay Klingon character (especially one in the 32nd century) wouldn’t really much differently than any other Klingon character. Never imagined that homosexuality in Klingon society would be treated much differently or that gay Klingons would act much differently than other Klingons.

The fact that the show’s writers and producers made such a big deal about it— indeed, that they made so much of the shows social interactions seem as if they were taking place today rather than in a more idealistic future, really rubbed me the wrong way.

And, as a gay man, I find the depiction of the gay character as weak, timid, and frightened - especially when that species is known for being strong, brave, and heroic - to be pretty insulting.

You've gone well across the line below of Rule 1 which would have earned a warning and maybe a day ban.
