This might be an unpopular opinion, but fuuuck, at least give us until the midterms.
Declaring this now just gives it more power to take hold.
I do disagree. We have to take it back but I don't see any value in pretending because we might reverse what has happened.
Midterms will be either rigged or there will be a "state of emergency" or whatever.
Seems like a lot of people forgot what happened and what almost happened on January 6th. I strongly doubt power will be handed over.
Electoral politics got us into to this mess. Neither party is very interested in getting us out of it.
