Anyone notice that republicans never talk about transgender men, only transgender women?
I think because they don't want cis women realizing that being a man is actually an option.
Pay discrepancy? Sexual harassment or target of assault? Always being mansplained and treated like an incapable toddler?
All of those go away if cis women even start cosplaying as men.
It's really sad that you think this is what transitioning is; just an act, a performance to obtain some vague notional benefits of being the opposite sex / gender. It's even sadder that you think that a society that goes out of its way to demonize and attack trans people would ever willingly afford them those notional benefits.
Please actually spend some time talking to trans people - especially trans men - about their experiences before you ever decide to open your mouth on this subject again.
I think you missed the tongue-in-cheek tone of the entire comment.
That's not what I think, at all. And it's really sad that you jump to that.
It's even sadder that cis women could have a better life in this country/world if they were just men. That was the point of the commentary, gender inequality, not transphobia.
There's also far less stigma around a woman who dressed boyish than there is around a man who dresses feminine. Probably because society treats the woman better if she's a man.
So just to be clear, you're not actually a bigot, you just like to amplify bigoted beliefs. You know, for fun.
Maybe not the best defense you could have done up with.
To a lot of transphobes, all trans people are men, even though they probably won't state it this clearly. It's the idea under e. g. the FIDE rulings.
