So fr, they have to have a pretty extensive psych test before drafting someone if they don't want dead commanding officers.

Hypothetically if they did a draft, what happens to all the people who go "i'm not fleeing the country because i dont want to go to jail but i hate the military" also jail?

MFW when we learn Meta is already providing data to the Pentagon classifying young folks into one or the other category, with (I'd imagine, knowing what I know) a decent degree of accuracy. Way better than pure chance or even economic data.

[Edit: err, I should say, I know fuck-all about Meta internals, I just know more than I really want to about how easy it is for today's LLMs to digest and summarize text with startling accuracy]
