I want my day mildly ruined, not completely ruined. Please remember to refrain from reposting old content. If you post a post from reddit it is good practice to include a link and credit the OP. I'm not about stealing content!
It's just good to get something in this website for casual viewing whilst refreshing original content is added overtime.

Use uBlock origin and sponsorblock with Firefox or a fork for a perfect YouTube experience.
I'm aware but keeping updated to keep it working is a pain in the ass. The main issue being having to close all my tabs to restart the browser and keeping track of all the various shit I have open. Not worth the effort just for YouTube.
With using a second browser I can just update it and restart in 1 minute if there's an issue. Side bonus of it clearing my cookies and it unfucks my algorithm for a while. Not saying I HAVE to use brave for this. Just it's the one I landed on because there was nothing extra to manage.
Turn on automatic updates. It's as frictionless as The Mighty Goog allow it to be and a hell of a lot better than putting up with ads.
