Whether you want to admit it or not, Biden was actually the best candidate strategically, which was proven right. It says more about the US people that we all want to believe.
Lol, no he wasn't. A soggy potato could have won that election, but the DNC insisted on choosing a candidate who would do such a bad job on power that Trump might as well have won. To the point that a lot of liberals have forgotten that the Biden administration even happened
Well yeah, you have a theory, and whatever supports it is true because duh, and whatever contradicts it actually supports it because your opponents are all idiots.
It's a nice way to feel good about yourself, but terrible way to ground yourself in reality.
You're talking about yourself, right?
NO U is an amazing rebuttal. Incredibly effective at stopping you from considering that other people exist and can say something worth thinking about.
As if your comment was any more substantial
I mean, if you ignore the critique of your position, every rebuttal loses its substance automatically.
Yes, correct, that was my point
If it wasn't for Covid, Biden wouldn't have stood a chance. Then Biden completely fucked over 2024. He was not the best candidate.
I can do speculations too, if his health wouldn't suddenly deteriorate, he would crush in 2024, but since he wasn't an actual final candidate, we couldn't tell, just as we can't tell what would outcome of the previous be if not for covid.
In the end his win record was 1/1 which is kind of what you want from a candidate.
Except we can tell. He was the only candidate that polled even worse than Kamala. And you're delusional if you think his health decline was sudden.
You can always tell looking backwards, yes. The power of hindsight is infinite.
And yes, his health decline was sudden. He went from a normal old fart (an ideal American preferred by most) to an old fart with severe terminal illness in a span of weeks, not even months.
Listen, you can convince yourself to whatever, you can believe in whatever, but if you look at voting patterns, you can count on the fingers of one hand the times when broad American public chose someone who isn't an old white conservatively leaning man, given the choice. You might not like it, I certainly don't, but you need to come to terms with what your country is made of, if you want to stop being perpetually surprised why aren't you achieving anything.
