Oh great, so there's should be an economic collapse and housing crash right around the corner!
Economic collapse? Sure, but for a new housing crisis we don't have enough home owners... How about a nice cost-of-living crisis instead? Or perhaps the good old rent-rising, salaries-stagnation crisis?
Almost certainly an economic one. Most of our "economy" (stock value, but the media and owners treat this as if it's the economy) is tied up in just a few companies, and all of those company's value are most AI. I'm reasonably confident there will be an AI crash, which will tank stock values and everyone with investments in these companies.
I'm not so sure if there will be a housing market collapse.

I keep telling people: if you live in town go outside at like 2 am and fire a couple round into the dirt. Regular gunfire reduces property rates and can be used as leverage to keep rent low.
Please read your local laws before doing this, as discharging a firearm within city limits is a crime in many places.
