After watching Mandalorian I got really disenchanted with the Star Wars franchise after being a life long fan. Is Andor worth watching?
It's better than every piece of Star Wars media except maybe A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back.
Andor is really fucking good and I got disenchanted with Star Wars over 20 years ago
Yes. Especially if you're a life long Star Wars fan. It's the single best piece of Star Wars visual media since the original trilogy.
Edit: I'm sure you know this, but just in case others don't, be sure to find a way to watch it without giving Disney any money.
Andor is worth watching even if you don't care about or even hate Star Wars. Until the second half of the second season it could pretty much be any sci-fi setting. It still has lib bits but any Marxist will appreciate a lot of it.
I haven't paid attention to any of the new Star Wars content post the prequels (2000s), not watched a bit of it but I watched this on a recommendation and it was absolutely worth it. It has a permanent place in my media collection now.
Good as shit
