Recently we've learned that the F35 is a 1T Dollar mess with no radar, and that the capabilities of anti ballistic systems were grossly overstated so it's worth asking if there's as much of a moral quandary with working in american defense given that most of the big name equipment does nothing.

Admittedly somewhat of a joke post but in my industry, there are some heavy incentives to work for a "defense" contractor only ignored by those with a moral compass.

I'm half considering setting up a "defense company" that does absolutely nothing, maybe we can sell MRE's that spoil or grenades that explode with confetti.
