I had 3 combat encounters that took maybe 10-15mins at most in about 7h of gameplay . So far only 1 of these 3 combat encounters seemed mandatory. If you are worried you wont like the game cause you wont like the combat.... there is very little combat in the game.
At least based on my game time.
