I liked the episode a lot and agree with a lot of what you said.
I thought the creature infiltrating the vessel was weird that is never really got seen. It also felt slightly out of place like an episode of Alien or something.
That said, these little things are babies? I thought originally that they were some symbiotic creature relationship but now I’m wondering if they’re offspring.
The shots of the Titan in the ocean, especially juxtaposed to the whale, were stunning!
It’s not clear if they’re offspring or symbionts, but with the calling, it seems more like offspring.
They may be like wolf spiderlings riding their mother’s back, falling off and then running to catch up.
Having one catch a ride on the helicopter, and Monarch’s complete lack of preparation or surveillance for riders, drives home the concept that this is a new genre of Titan. Only Keiko and Lee have any knowledge of it.
