It might lead to us being able to get AI datacenter level GPUs to run our own models on for relatively cheaply as ewaste. Wouldn't that be cool?

Very likely it will, Corporate AI and just corporate companies are prudish and restrictive, and Open source AI models don't have any such limitations, so yes AI generated pornography will improve with better access to hardware and big tech companies no longer stifling community AI models.
